Having spent 4 years racing SUP in the UK, winning 4 National Championship Titles in each board class, both Naish One Inland and overall National Championships the only thing missing was an Endurance National Title. We only had individual endrance races, which I had won and set course records, but no National Series. As I like to find a solution, the solution this time was to generate a National Series and persuade Pete to be the Race Director, which would give me the opportunity to race.
Our organisation UK SUP developed a 3 race series, a 52km, a 75km and a 92km race. I was stoked to finish the Year as not only the female National Champion but also placing higher than any male in the full series standings.
I felt I could now close a chapter in the UK and move to Australia feeling I had completed all my goals
